Our Self-help Classes
Our self-help classes are offered in microbusiness ownership. Enrollment in our classes are optional and not a requirement of room rental. Microloans are not being offered at this time, but we can refer to microlending organizations.
Our microbusiness classes are based on books by such authors as Loral Langemeier and Keith R. McFarland. Classes include subjects like how to use money wisely, speed cleaning a room, planning a marketing strategy, writing a business plan, bidding for government contracts, shopping for a franchise, buying an existing business, or filing a patent. In addition to offering classes, our institute offers assistance in finding resources in the community that can help our boarders start their own microbusinesses.
We plan to eventually also offer our classes through the online program at Colorado Free University.
